I first learned that my varicose veins were a treatable condition during one of my 'mommy and me' classes for my baby in Santa Monica.  The whole 'mommy and me' class burst out laughing when we all talked about the bulging  veins and spider veins in our legs.  It seemed like every mother got them after their pregnancy.  One of the 'mommies' referred me and I got my first varicose vein treatment.  Honestly, it was pretty easy and straightforward and part of the costs were covered by my insurance for medical purposes.

I'm a nurse at St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica.  My husband and I have both had our varicose veins treated and I very pleased with the results.  Being a nurse, I thought that they provided excellent care and took care of us like we were family.  My husband and I have different shifts and we were accomodated so that we could both come on our days off.  I have since talked to many nurses and medical assistants and was surprised to find so many of them with varicose veins.  It seems like our line of work puts nurses at risk for varicose and spider veins.  As a medical professional, I would recommend the office completely.

My first visit to the vein office was very calm and informative.  I am a schoolteacher in West Los Angeles and I was hesitant to undergo any treatment before learning everything there is about the procedure.  I kind of feel sorry for the doctor the first day, because I had a whole page of questions to ask him.  He was, to say the least, very patient and helpful. Needless to say, I ended up having my veins treated and I have no regrets.  I am a loyal and grateful patient.
