Plato's Bruise Balm for common bruises from injury, trauma, and cosmetic injections

The gaining popularity of cosmetic facial injections has been exponential in the last ten years.  The most common types of injections in cosmetic surgery include Juvederm, Restylane, Radiesse, Botox, and Dysport. Juvederm and Restylane are typically used to add volume to the face, while Botox and Dysport are used as neurotoxins to fight dynamic wrinkles around the forehead and eyes.  Botox injections were once only used for the elevens, but are now increasingly used for forehead wrinkles, crows feet, TMJ problems, migraines, and neck bands.

As with any type of injectable, Botox and facial fillers can cause minor bruising and swelling. The bruising is usually temporary, but in some cases may linger on for a lengthy period of time.  Both Dr. Hratch Karamanoukian and Dr. Raffy Karamanoukian recommend Plato's Bruise Balm for their patients after injectables in order to minimize recovery after facial fillers and Botox. Plato's Bruise Balm offers the advantages of having several anti-bruising natural extracts, including Arnica montana, to help reduce the duration of a bruise.
